What is the European Consortium for Null Review?

The European Consortium for Null Review is a collaborative network of researchers and experts focused on upholding the highest standards in peer-reviewed research. Our platform is dedicated to evaluating and publishing null or inconclusive results, ensuring that all research outcomes are rigorously reviewed with transparency and integrity. We value the importance of diverse scientific contributions, including those that do not confirm hypotheses, and foster an inclusive community where these results are thoroughly assessed and appreciated. Our mission is to advance scientific knowledge by recognizing the significance of null results and promoting global collaboration among researchers.

What is the aim of the project?

The purpose of the European Consortium for Null Review is to uphold the highest standards of peer-reviewed research by providing a transparent and collaborative platform for publishing null results. Our goal is to create a trusted space where inconclusive or unexpected findings are recognized and valued, helping to advance scientific knowledge and prevent redundant studies. Through this community-driven approach, we support researchers in sharing meaningful discoveries and contributing to a more complete understanding of their fields.

How does it work?

The European Consortium for Null Review follows a transparent, community-driven process. Researchers submit their studies, including those with null or inconclusive results, to our platform, where a network of expert peers thoroughly evaluates each submission. Peers review the quality, methodology, and validity of the research, casting votes to either support or reject the paper. If a submission receives less than one-third of the votes in favor, it is removed from the journal, ensuring that only well-conducted research is published. This peer-driven system maintains the rigor and integrity of the review process, while emphasizing the importance of null results in advancing scientific knowledge.
