This document outlines the various fees associated with journal submissions, donations, subscriptions, fundraising campaigns, and scholarship funds. Please read this document carefully to understand the costs involved and our policies regarding fees.

Journal Submission Fees

Submission Fees

To maintain the quality and integrity of our journals, we charge a submission fee of €49.99 per journal submitted to both the European Consortium for Null Review and the European Consortium for Scientific Review.

The submission fee serves multiple purposes:

• Quality Assurance: Ensures that only serious and high-quality submissions are considered, thereby preventing spam or junk publications.
• Barrier of Entry: Creates a financial barrier that encourages authors to commit to their work, promoting the submission of well-researched and thoroughly prepared journals.

All submission fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Exclusive Submission Requirement

By submitting a paper to our Site, you agree not to submit the same paper to any other journal or publication simultaneously.

Fundraising Campaign Donations

Making Donations

We welcome donations to support our mission and activities. Donations can be made securely through our Donation Page. By making a donation, you agree to provide accurate and complete information.

Donation Fees

All donations made to the Site are subject to processing fees, which vary depending on the membership subscription of the publishing author (the user who started the fundraising campaign).

Donation Fees Based on Membership Subscription

The processing fees for donations are fundraising campaign’s user’s subscription level dependent and are structured as follows:

• Free Subscription: 3.2% + €0.35 per transaction processing fee
• Paid Subscription: 2.9% + €0.30 per transaction processing fee

Non-Paying Users’ Donation Contribution Limits

Users without a subscription who wish to donate are required to allocate at least 2% and no more than 25% of their total donation amount to the scholarship fund. Scholarship fund donations are subject to an additional 30% operational fee.

Operational Fees for Donations

Operational fees exist to ensure the maintenance of our nonprofit structure, cover administrative expenses, and manage the expenses and labor involved in processing and distributing funds. Specifically:

• Administrative Expenses: Covering the costs of managing donations and maintaining our services.
• Processing Funds: Ensuring that donations are securely processed and accurately allocated.
• Distributing Scholarship Funds: Covering the expenses related to distributing and paying out scholarship funds to beneficiaries.

Processing Fees for Secure Payment Systems

Processing fees exist as a necessary cost for utilizing secure payment systems that protect your financial information. These fees cover the expenses associated with maintaining secure transactions and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.

Reimbursements

In the event of reimbursements, donors will receive an amount equivalent to benefactor’s net payment. This means that the European Academic Association retains donations for funds and associated fees, as well as transaction fees incurred as operational costs. The net payout returned will be reduced by any applicable bank fees, typically amounting to less than €1.

Scholarship Fund Donations

Making Scholarship Fund Donations

Donations specifically designated for scholarship funds support deserving students and researchers. These donations can be made through our Scholarship Fund. By making a scholarship fund donation, you agree to provide accurate and complete information.

Scholarship Fund Donation Fees

Donations to scholarship funds are subject to processing fees and operational fees, which are distinct from general donation fees.

• Processing Fee: No processing fees are charged.
• Operational Fee: 15% if the donor has paid subscription of total donation, otherwise 17.5%.

Non-Refundable Nature of Fees

All fees associated with donations, including processing fees and any other administrative charges, are non-refundable. Users acknowledge and agree that once a donation is made and fees are deducted, neither the European Academic Association nor any associated entities will issue refunds for these fees under any circumstances.

Please ensure that you understand the fee structure and policies before making any donations.

Operational Fees

Operational fees are essential to maintain our nonprofit structure and cover the following:

• Administrative Expenses: Covering the costs of managing donations and maintaining our services.
• Processing Funds: Ensuring that donations are securely processed and accurately allocated.
• Distributing Scholarship Funds: Covering the expenses related to distributing and paying out scholarship funds to beneficiaries.

Subscriptions

Subscription Plans

We offer various subscription plans that provide access to premium features and services on the Site. Details of each subscription plan, including pricing and benefits, are available on our Subscription Page.

• Monthly Subscription: €4.99 per month
• Semi-Annual Subscription: €27.49 for six (6) months
• Annual Subscription: €49.99 per year

Payment of Subscriptions

All subscription fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable. By subscribing, you agree to provide accurate and complete payment information. Payments will be processed securely through our payment gateway providers in accordance with EU legislation.

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions may automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle. You will be notified prior to any renewal, and you can cancel the automatic renewal at any time through your account settings.

Fee Structure Changes

We reserve the right to modify the fee structure associated with subscriptions at any time. Any changes to the fee structure will be communicated to users via email or through a prominent notice on the Site prior to implementation. Changes will not affect subscriptions already in place but will apply to all future subscriptions.

Reservation of Rights to Modify Fees

The European Academic Association reserves the right to change, modify, or discontinue any fees related to subscriptions at its sole discretion. Such changes will not require user consent and will be implemented as per the notification guidelines.

User Inability to Change Fees

Users are not permitted to alter, negotiate, or request changes to the fees associated with subscriptions. All fees are set by the European Academic Association and are non-negotiable.

Fundraising Campaigns

Starting a Fundraising Campaign

Users may start fundraising campaigns to support their projects or initiatives. To start a campaign, you must:

• Provide accurate and truthful information about your project.
• Agree to our Campaign Guidelines.
• Ensure that all funds raised are used in accordance with the stated purpose of the campaign.
• Provide a link to your fundraising campaign where all donors and donations can be publicly viewed.

Managing Fundraising Campaigns

Campaign organizers are responsible for managing their campaigns and ensuring that all donations are used as intended. Any misuse of funds may result in the termination of your account and legal action.

Fundraising Campaign Fees

Starting and managing fundraising campaigns may incur fees to cover administrative and processing costs.

• Campaign Setup Fee: No fees for starting a campaign.
• Processing Fee: No processing fees from total funds raised.

All fundraising campaign fees are non-refundable.

Fee Structure Changes

We reserve the right to modify the fee structure associated with fundraising campaigns at any time. Any changes will be communicated to campaign organizers via email or through a prominent notice on the Site prior to implementation. Changes will not affect campaigns already in place but will apply to all future campaigns.
